Flowers, Shrubs, Trees and Yard Decor
Plant some Annual
Flowers too !
Flowers accent and enliven a home's
landscape. While flowering trees &
shrubs provide short bursts of color, most
annuals begin blooming within a month of planting
and they will usually flower until
frost. You can plant
annual flowers almost anywhere -beds,
borders, rock gardens, window boxes, or hanging
baskets.... This is a great way to recycle something from "junk" into a cute planter. Old rubber tires, leather boots, bath tubs, bed frames... can all be used to liven up your flower beds. I like to plant edible or medicinal flowers for the most part so I can get the most use out of my garden space

Create a focal point
A freestanding or a wall mounted fountain,
a birdbath, a garden statue, an arbor, a
gazebo... make a great spot to focus your
attention! Yet another recycling idea is to use an old bowling ball as a gazing ball in your garden. I did this with a purple swirled bowling ball and I get so many complements on it and eveyone wants to know where I bought my gazing ball - LOL

Plant a Tree?
Trees clean the air,
provide us with shade and give wildlife a home. Many trees give us fruit, nuts, sap for syrup, can be used for scenting my all natural products and fallen branches can be used for outdoor cooking/smoking and as firewood.
